Dear Dr Kwok, how do you feel about the dog eating practice and festival in China?  I am a Chinese living overseas; I am proud of my heritage, but there are things happening in China that are making me very sad and not proud of.  I know there are small groups of Chinese advocates step in big time to rescue dogs wherever they can, but it really needs the Central government to pass restricting policies to protect our innocent dogs and stop this brutality once and for all.  Dogs have been our pets for many many decades and have served us loyally, they are not meat for consumption.

Dr Kwok, can you use your political influence and talk to the Chinese government?  I thank you and our dogs will thank you too.
