京305醫院。中央領導指示,要請最好的醫生、用 最好的醫療設備、最好的藥品救

治習書記。齊心大姐和孩子們全都 守候在病房裡。每天都有戰友、朋友、親友前

來探望。後來,大家 只能在重症監護室外隔著玻璃看著習書記與病魔搏鬥。與死神

抗爭。

我是一個無神論者。此時此刻卻默默祈禱,希望能有一個神靈 或者上帝,好

保佑習書記轉危為安。

我們幾位秘書和身邊的工作人員以及中央統戰部的劉小萍、張 蒙納,還有習

書記的老朋友張西銘等,就這樣天天守候在習書記的 病房裡,一直到他離開我們

的2002年5月24日5時34分。

習書記走了。他最後靜臥在白色被單中的身影、稍顯凌亂的銀 發、輕輕閉合

的眼臉,依然淡定的神態,永遠、永遠地留在了我的 腦海裡。

目送護士推著習書記的遺體緩緩消失在病房走廊盡頭的那一 刻。一直到

5月30日同習書記遺體告別的那段日子裡,我陷入無 比悲痛之中。我沒有哭

泣,也沒有眼淚。那是“大悲無淚”啊! 而 後來在撰寫有關他的紀念文章時,我

卻多次淚灑衣襟。
